DAY 5
The sun is finally out - YIPEE! Today was busy. I decided today would be the day to grant a wish on the wishuponahero.com website. My older daughter (16) and I went an purchased clothing items for a baby and young mother. I tried to involve my daughter because she is always helping me with generous ideas and giving to others. It felt good for her too. We packaged up the box for mailing. I enclosed a gift certificate for the young mom so that she can do something special for herself. I sent a card with some inspiring words for her not to give up on life. I think it is important for people to know that the world does have goodness to offer. There are good people in the world! That was my gift for the day. I hope the items fit and keep her warm this winter.

Haven' been there in a while - great that you did such a great thing, and that you involved your child! I think it's so important to teach our children how important it is to give to others!
