Day 5
Today I felt drawn to reach out to a friend that I hadn't seen on Facebook in awhile. She emailed me and filled me in on the fact that her husband has been out of town for over a week due to some medical issues with his father. After emailing her to let her know that I would be praying for her and her family, I went into my card stash and sent her a card along with a $5 Starbucks gift card.
I also spent the whole day with my daughters reading and doing crafts. We decorated our Easter tree. I gave them each a blank egg and asked them what they would like to thank God for -- my oldest wrote "My Family" and my youngest wrote "Me" (meaning her)....she makes me laugh!

I love your day...and the Easter Tree is a wonderful idea! We did a thankful tree at Thanksgiving, and the kids wrote on leaves,(construction paper). It is a cool idea for Easter as well!
