Day 6

My daughters both expressed an interest in Reese's Peanut Butter cups dark last week. Today, I was in the mall and walked by the Godiva chocolatier. Their fancy schmancy peanut butter cups cost $$4 EACH, so instead of one for each daughter, I got them one to share.

I gave a second gift today as well. My sister mentioned at Christmas that she has been carrying in her purse a gift certificate to the mall for $25 for three years now. She keeps forgetting to use it. So I bought it from her.

So far on this project, I haven't felt any deep awakenings, but I have become aware of how much I enjoy giving and how easy it can be.

Next week, I'm going to do more service-oriented things. I got a solicitation for money from the local food bank in the mail lat week. I'm not donating money, but I am going to call and donate some time. I've certainly got more time than money these days, ha ha.
