Today I give with hope ~
From the moment I woke up this morning, I knew what my gift for the day would be. While it might not work on everyone, I would attempt to get eye contact and smile at everyone I saw. Smiling in itself has been proven to make people happy. If you're down, and someone smiles at you, perhaps luring you into smiling back, it can literally change your mood.
Walking into the building at work, I beamed at everyone and everyone seemed to beam back. At work, I was full of smiles. At home, I kept my happy face on and at the gym, yes, even at the gym, I smiled through the workout. I swear my face hurt by the end of the day. The funny thing is that throughout the day, I realized I wasn't even forcing the smile. It was a genuine, natural smile. That's when it came to me... maybe you're just happy. This was a gift for everyone I saw, albeit a small one, it was a gift nonetheless. Looking back on my day, I see that this was also a gift to myself!

I walk every morning and I try to make eye contact; smile and say hi to everyone I pass. I think that is great that you did that on your gift giving day! I am sure you made lots of people have a better day.
You have a beautiful smile, and I know it lifted many spirits and hearts this day!
I believe this to be the perfect day of giving :o)
