Day 8--Today when I let traffic go ahead of me, it was nearly automatic. I'd like to think that these "gifts" are making me a nicer, less stressed person especially in traffic. I also gave the gifts of empathy and encouragement to an injured worker today. Her situtation is very similiar to mine--injured at work with an employer who still expects full work performance. I talked to her about my experience and let her know to speak up when she needed help (as I didn't and was injured worse).
Day 9--I gave the gift of time and creativity today. I'm making some jewelry for a friend and she is giving me some free reign on what materials to use and how to put them together. I finally felt motivated today to work on 1 piece and got a good portion of it done before I ran out of beads. I'm interested to see the final product. Hope she realizes how much care I've put into getting it just right.
