Day 9- my 12 hour day
My attitude at work is "let me help where I can and go my best each day". Today I realized maybe I should put some limits on my giving. I ended up working 12 hours today between 2 facilities that are 28 miles apart. I got home at a quarter to 8 tonight and realized I can't do this tomorrow. I might have to split my day between two facilities where I am needed, but I plan to gift myself a morning run and sleeping in a little before I go to work (I usually rush to work by 7am). I gave my boss a call tonight to give her fair warning and she was completely supportive of the decision. I must take care of myself before I can truly take care of others...

so true, sarah jean, we have to take care of ourselves before we can take care of others, i think we forget that a lot! wishing you self care!
