DAY FOUR: A few quick gifts.
Today I gave my 29 Gifts book to a friend. She had ordered one that has yet to arrive, but couldn't wait to start reading it. We agreed that once she gets her copy, she will gift the extra book to another person to spread the message/spread the gifts.
I also purchased extra food items at the grocery store to drop in the food bank donation box. Then, I took all the coins in my purse and some ones and placed them in the Salvation Army kettle on the way out.
Tonight I accepted an invitation to a former co-worker's annual holiday dinner that I usually turn down each year. Sometimes I tend to isolate, but I decided to gift them with my presence. They seemed so happy to see me, and I really enjoyed my time with everyone.
