29-Day Giving Challenge

My 29 gifts book came in the mail today. How great is that? I read it all today (but of course that means I can now reread it and that's even more fun.) I also now see what the pattern of the ritual is about and that's quite helpful. I even got to see how some of Cami's journey shows me some things to pursue as I deal with deteriorating health related to disabling conditions plus a tendency to push push push too hard in order to feel "good enough" to be - in life, work, and relationships.

So today I did my kibble and cancer donations, and some change for the humane society, ran into an email friend interested in bartering (he had been part of a bartering fair where he had lived before - as an aside, does anyone here barter? would anyone here be willing to tell me about it or tell me what you imagine a good bartering relationship would look like if you were in one? thanks).

A while back I mention I posted some things I wanted to do rather than "for a relationship" and I've had some responses - which pleases me. But meanwhile I discovered an inexpensive way to meet two girlfriends in a nearby town (nearby is 150 miles here) by getting a half-rate at a hotel, and got the ONLY counseling appointment with the only counselor who works with my area of need despite a frantic schedule on her end - just by asking and letting go of the I NEED It now energy.

I shared a drawing of a solar heat grabber (window mounted) with an ex boyfriend who told me he had told me about that way back then, and I gave him the gift of thanking him for explaining it to me so I understood it when I finally saw it (rather than saying I didn't understand it when he described it). I told mom I loved her (and it's hard to deal with anyone right now). I am thanking the counselors I'm working with and my friends for their support, although it would be easier to coil up in a ball and focus on what feels broke. I'm doing the other way as best I can. I'm saying thank you as best I can - it is a gift!

I gave a good reference for someone in a phone call today. I made my ponies happy with their vitamin treats.

I gave appreciations here and there. And I am now going to go post 5 good things on the powerful intentions site. nite all
