29-Day Giving Challenge

Hi world,

and thank you for this place to come and share. i hope to write a bit here at least a few times a week. i really admire the work and thoughtfulness that has gone into creating this community and it is so full of life and color.

today, i am giving some cookies to the doorman of our building and a journal with some stickers for a dear friend. sometimes it feels like giving should involve more sacrifice to me. like i won't miss these cookies or this journal, so is it truly a gift? i would love to learn how to give even those things i covet.

thank you for listening.
and hope everyone is tasting this sunshine.
be well,
sh(abby)

Those are wonderful gifts. What if giving the coveted is an exercise of faith that someone else needs it more than you? Could that be true? Your gift giving today was special. Thank you for doing so.

You have given wonderful gifts on day 1! The doorman will really appreciate that you thought of him.And the journal is a great idea..when your friend writes in it, she will think of you.Sending many blessings your way..looking forward to day 2!

Ideas for gifts are plentiful on this site. On the tool bar above you can go to forum. There you will find a discussion on giving ideas. Read through some of the blogs and you will be inspired. There are no small gives as long as it uplifts another. This challenge can stretch you and help you become the best you can be. Have lots of fun with it. You found perfect gifts for your first blog. I know the doorman will enjoy the cookies and your friend will cherish the joutnel.
