Day One
Today is my Day One in the 29Gifts Journey. I feel excited, inspired, and joyful at having giving as my focus for today!
From the OperationBeautiful.com website, I was given the idea of posting anonymous "you are beautiful" notes, so I'm about to do that. I work at a large university, and if there's anywhere where women's body image is too much of a focus, it's in college! So these notes will go on the mirror in the women's bathroom.
As with all giving, it is Spirit who is in charge--each of us can choose to give something from our hearts, and what happens from that action is completely up to Spirit.

I went through an entire Post-It Notes pad for the OperationBeautiful.com project. I think it's grand thing. I hope some of my inspirations helped my college campus as well. Thanks for carrying on this tradition.

what a great idea! you are right, there is entirely too much focus on what the media portrays as beauty and even very young girls are falling prey to it. i am smiling imagining the women's reactions to the notes. Hugs, Dawn
