Day One and Day Two
Day One
It was my best friend's birthday today. We have been friends since we met at University in 1988. I can't believe that's 21 years. I did a mixed CD for her of the music that would remind her of those carefree days. I think she loved it more than the perfume and the make up that I bought her as well. I also babysat for her and her partner so they could go to the cinema. She was just grateful to see adult cinema (Frost/Nixon which she highly recommends) rather than the Chipmunks and the Transformers.
Day Two
I had a quiet day today and saw very few people so couldn't think of an opportunity to give other than I gave advice. I'm sure that counts. I gave relationship advice to my best friend. It's funny how wise I am about other people's lives but struggle to counsel myself with the same insight and consideration. But in just writing that encourages me to treat my problems with the same wisdom and kindness I offer to others. I know I am not alone in this one.

Your friends birthday gifts were great. I loved the CD
Giving advice is a thoughtful give. It is a hard give sometimes, Yes, it is time to take your advice with wisdom and kindness. You are not alone on this one at all.

I think we all have a nuch easier time giving advise than taking it, nice gives.
