29-Day Giving Challenge

I found this amazing site through my Mother in law Cheryl and I am so glad that I did!!

For my first day I chose to give to Operation Smiley Face because there is a message in that cause deeper than any amount of money could ever buy. Lubabat Scotland was diagnosed with MS in the 90's and in August of this year she was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. At a time when many would be crumbling with such news,Lubabat did not , instead she is giving away all the smiles she can.

Her story moved me and inspired me to lead by example more, because if she is not the definition of selfless giving I have ever heard about then I am not sure who is. Take a peek under the November cause and give a gift of smiles and in return you get something even bigger....inspiration!

Thank you Lubabat Scotland for being someone we can all look up to, for your courage, bravery and inspiration that we can each learn from. If there is a moment in my life that I feel any bitterness, sorry for myself or those moments when going forward seems impossible ..I will think of you and your strength. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers....Thank you!!

I just saw this post and you brought me to tears. I get so much joy out of what I'm doing that I don't really feel that I am "giving" anything. The work that I do with Operation Smiley Face is really a gift to ME. I have Mbali and Cami to thank for it because this challenge inspired it all. Thank you for your kind words. They meant a lot to me. :)
