29-Day Giving Challenge

day ten as if that matters (that it's a number that is!)

Well today I stayed calm and enjoyed that it was not a sick day. And that was just great. I still have my mile or so for cancer to walk and I will when I do. I thanked my health coach for her assistance, was very careful to have the e-mails i sent out have a nice tone, and I spent some time appreciating that I learned that work life may not be over (got The Book last night and devoured it).

Whatever giving day it is, fed critters and plants, checked to see if I could recycle packing peanuts (no, so I'm on my own hook to do that), recycled my recycling, wrote a poem for the Zumwalt prairie poetry project, and started my own blog on bartering for our local area to encourage people to live better and value their time and skills more appropriately. I think this is a nice activity for either gender but for women, especially - and for people dealing with disabilities - like me.

I've got some high end skills but worked myself to bits and now am working on creating a new life... while trying to get well. So I'm specially appreciative of the 29 gifts and other things I do each day to create a better me and a better world and life for myself, and to become a better friend. Kind of confusing which way the giving is going today - to be amused by the freekibblekat link as I donate a click for kibble, or walk for health to get a few cents for cancer support or ??? it's all good or trending there.

Love to you all... and to the snowed in ones... bundle up!

A quick add on - Have been approached to be on three community volunteer boards, and discovered that I can get voc rehab help for my new work life. Also thanked my congressbeing today for doing something - and ... thanked people today every chance I got. Got my mile in!
