Day Three: Holiday Traffic!

The traffic has been horrendous lately. Last weekend we got two feet of snow, which is unusual in the DC area. Holiday shoppers lost the last shopping weekend before the Christmas holidays because of the weather. They've been trying to make it up this week but the roads still aren't completely clear. It has not been much fun driving anywhere. Lanes certain abruptly disappear into snow banks, parking spaces are covered by mountains of snow, and everywhere there are cars, cars, cars.

The drivers of which do not appear to be in the holiday spirit....

So my gift today was to stay cheerful in horrendous traffic and to let quite a few people merge ahead of me (to the consternation of the people behind me, probably).
