Day Two!

Okay, I was not able to get my 10K day, either today or yesterday, but I am still cheering my friend on!

Today I gave three gifts. The first was I cheered my one friend up when she was having a bad day. I found lots of random things to distract her and cheer her up. Lots of Hoops and Yoyo cards and some fun XKCD comics.

The second gift was that I once again did some dishes for my mom, because I figured that I was there and that it was a good thing.

The third thing was that I found the one song my mom was looking for! She remembered a song from 1998 that had a bad message, but it was a good song to listen to. It was something that me and my sister used to love, but I could not remember it at all. Still, I searched through all of these old 90s music, from Spice Girls to Madonna. I think I rekindled my love for some of these old songs, including Backstreet Boys... But, anyway, I was listening to Madonna when something occurred to me and I looked up Gloria Estefan and I found Heavens What I Feel and that was the song!

I actually have the cd with the song on it, so I think that might end up being my gift for tomorrow, to let her copy it. But, I am so happy that I found it! It was driving all of us crazy.

This is only day two, and I still kind of feel like I'm not quite doing it right, but things have been getting better. My family is getting a bit more stable and I always have my friends and life is good. Now if only I can get my act together and write out the 22,000 words I need in order to get my goal for Nanowrimo!
