Whew, I've been MIA! I took a break from the blog for a few days! Day 13 was just amazing. It was a Friday night. I was extremely tired, but decided to go out tango dancing. Throughout this process I've been trying to do nice things regularly in addition to a specific gift. On Friday, I really wanted to give my friend and tango partner an iTunes card. He and I have been friends for years and I know he'd appreciate it. When I got to the friend's place (different person) who was hosting the party - it was I who was surprised. He had a gift for me! He developed a photo of me dancing tango and had put on foam core. It was beautiful. I was really touched. As it turned out, my tango partner did show up and I was able to give him his gift. He definitely appreciated it. Everyone was in a great mood and the dancing was especially good!
On Saturday, day 14, I took it easy. Actually, I took it easy for most of the weekend. I made an effort to give everyone a special smile and try to brighten someone's day. I was invited to a party and bought some wine and picked up gluten free cupcakes for everyone. Luckily, they were good! Thanks to Whole Foods!
Day 15, I made a gift to myself. I hope that counts! I was too tired to do much of anything. I stayed home - the whole day! It was raining and I just decided I needed to take care of myself!
Day 16, I bought a gift for my mom. I picked up some cosmetics she really likes. I was going over to her place for dinner and she was really surprised. It was a lot of fun to give her a gift!
Day 17 - I researched and found some grant applications for my belly dance teachers/mentors. I was also feeling great yesterday. I had a lot of energy and am excited that my stamina is increasing!
