days 14/15

day 14 ::

a gorgeous sunday, a day outside. we pulled some weeds, planted our garden [seeds of cilantro, carrot, broccoli, kale, butter lettuce, lemon balm - and more to come], and generally putzed in the yard. later, i went to a sustainability group and meditation. my gift was 'goodwill'-sparing others my judgement, opinions, and superiority. i allowed others to be who they are. i listened. i accepted what is. i offered a complimentary consultation to my meditation center on greening their space :)

day 15 :: today i was supposed to be training on a new job. instead, the woman who was to train me, had been up all night with her son at the ER and wasn't coming in. rather than leave the post unattended, i chose to come in and do what i could, despite only having a rudimentary understading of the overall operations/systems. my scheduled half day turned into a full day, and everyone was appreciative of my willingness. i didn't really make too many errors either!
