Days 17 and 18 - Beautiful news!
Since my family have returned from their trip we've been getting back into our routines so my gifts have been patience and non-judgement, tough ones for me at times. There have also been lots of little notes and calls to friends but the EXCITING news was an email I received from my sister in law who runs the women and children's village we were collecting gifts for last week. The main project of the village is paper-making and card making, gorgeous creations, and she wanted to let us know that after this article appeared http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2009/nov/14/charity-christmas-cards... their stock of 19,000 cards sold out in ONE DAY. I love starting a giving day with news like that!

Amy, I understand the need for patience, my other thought when I get frustrated is that I need more compassion even when I don't understand where people are coming from because goodness knows there are probably a lot of times when others around me need patience and compassion for me! I went and saw the movie "Precious" and wow it was an eye opener for GRATITUDE!
