Days 18-26

Wow, did I get behind! I'm realizing that NOT doing something is sometimes a gift. For example, I'm having a hard time at my job but am trying to keep calm and do my job well. It's really hard to stay focused when I'm so flustered by what's going on. But I wouldn't be doing myself, my boss, or my fellow workers any favors by blowing up or dissolving into a puddle, both of which I feel like doing!
Here's what's been going on:
Day 18--Called one of my daughters
Day 19--Let cars into traffic
Day 20--Complimented a helper at the vet on her beautiful eyes (she seemed kind of sad and said I made her day)
Day 21--Sent my daughter who's out of the country a birthday email; called my other daughter and 2 sick friends
Day 22--Took a friend to a talk about Africa
Day 23--Visited a friend who is recovering from an operation
Day 24--Helped another employee set up for a meeting
Day 25--Complimented a fellow worker on the color of her sweater
