There is a Dunkin Donuts on the way to work, and while the coffee and donuts are awesome, pulling back out onto the road is not!. The traffic on the main road is completely unforgiving and you could be stuck there for a good ten minutes trying to get out of the parking lot. Much to the chargrin of the motorists behind me, I stopped and let a lady pull out and be on her way. The relief on her face was priceless and it was my little gift for the day.
Today, I'm trying something way out of my comfort zone.....Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to be a writer. I would spend hours creating characters and stories and scribbling everything down on paper freehand. Sometime in my late teens or early twenties, I developed a very nasty and down right horrible inner critic that has all but completely halted my progress towards my dream. For one hour, starting right after I post this blog, I will gag my inner critic and try to write in peace and quiet. Wish me luck!
Happy giving everyone!
