Days 23 and 24

Yesterday, Friday, I spent as much time as I could talking about the box to benefit shelter animals. A few of my co-workers not only contributed food, but also pledged money to both shelters. I helped a lady find her way to the agency. She was walking the wrong way and I walked her over to the agency and department where she had an appointment.

Today, day 24, I made several "fetishes", or talismans for some of my friends. Tomorrow here in Tucson there is a procession to celebrate the "Day of the dead".. The fetishes are to remind us to give thanks for all we have and all we are. It is also protection. The fetishes are made from things I find outside, like pine cones and feathers, bits of fiber and what have you. I just tie them into knots and things and they are like dolls or animals. I also did a few extra healings today after hours.
