29-Day Giving Challenge

I don't feel like I've come up with big enough Gives for the last 2 days, but here are my little ones, that I sort of feel that I might have done anyway. I feel like a nicer person with this challenge and that seems to be a gift both to myself and to everyone around me. I offered to my son to come get him from a friend's tonight; up til 11:30. I also stopped at the local VoTech school to get some info for him about apprenticeship possibilities. He's in a rut and I want to nudge him without it backfiring. I am sharing the too many goodies I have leftover from the holidays. I have invited a friend over for brunch on Sunday. She has the job I vacated last May and enjoys getting my 17 year experience/feedback. I also said yes to a woman who wants to couch surf on my couch this weekend. That's a big Give, but I haven't done it yet, just agreed/offered.
I am looking for an opportunity this month to give blood and to pick someone up waiting at a bus stop and take them where they want to go. I hope I am open to a bigger opportunity tomorrow.

The only BIG GIVES I can think of are expensive, things, and that seems dumb...tho I can afford them.. I am having trouble thinking of things to do a work. When I come home I only see my family and I feel I give them things all the time...dinner, money, new clothes...I find this is harder than I thought it would be.

They always say the little things mean a lot. How wonderful that you are sharing with your friend your expertise to help her become a better employee. (Be careful with the bus stop!)

Your "little give's" may actually be bigger than you know... especially the one you gave your son!
