29-Day Giving Challenge

hi everyone! i hope everyone is having a wonderful day of giving.
i have been giving lots of little gifts which have helped lift my spirits so much. every morning i say my prayer that i give joyfully and for guidance on what my gift should be. on day 5 - i mailed thanksgiving cards to 2 families i have been distant with for years ( mostly because of what my daughter did 10 years ago). in the cards i included pumpkin spice tea. day 6 - i opened the front gate for hubby so he didn't have to get out of the car in the pouring rain. i finished the sweater for the charity. made breakfast, tea and hot cocoa for my ill son. for me i started listening to music again while cooking ( i made a pot of tomato sauce). i gave miss eagle ( one of my hens - she has the coloring of an eagle) a pet - she squats down as soon as i am near her. day 7 - spent quality time with my daughter - in - law stephanie - we talked and had tea. i wrote more thanksgiving cards to friends, i made tea and rubarb crisp for everyone. day 8 - i spoke to each cashier - asking her how she was, i rescued miss eagle from the enclosed vege garden - i guess she flew in there by mistake and wrote/mailed thanksgiving postcards to 3 family members who have been distant. it has be an uplifting 8 days of giving.

god bless
sharon

Interesting how people who come to our lives with "bad blood" are the givers of so many insights about ourselves...true teachers...not easy to see the blessings in here, I know. Aside from that...you might want to consider the life in her as a child…

Brad, you did a wonderful thing for your friend, although she may not entirely realize this yet. Sometimes we cling to our comfort zone even if that "zone" isn't what is best for us. I've encountered this with people in my life occasionally. This ye…
