Days 8 and 9
Yesterday my gift was a hearty tapas (very late night) meal for my two starving, hardworking speed skating daughters. They had a very hard practice last night and were exhausted. Today my gift is a pearl rosary bracelet for this angel of a lady in my family's life. Five years ago, after a turbulent divorce, this lady was assigned by the court to be my daughter's visit supervisor. She has brought a stability to my family that I will forever be grateful for.
