29-Day Giving Challenge

hello :)
I've had such a lovely time the past few days giving.
On day two i decided to buy some chocolates for a neighbour who has a disabled son which often leaves her exhausted. I woke up early and left them on her frontdoor with a small anonymous note attached wishing her a lovely day. I also wrote to one of my friends who's away at university at the moment, stressing about her forthcoming exams.

On my third day i travelled three hours south on the train to visit my friend who has been in hopsital for the past four months. She has just been released as a day patient, which is wonderful news, so i took the time to go and spend the night with her. The joy on her face at seeing me was so amazing. Even though she is still quite ill, giving my time to her made such a difference to how she felt those two days that i was there. I think this has been my most rewarding give so far.

On my fourth day i was still with my friend, so i included that as part of my give. But on the train home, i decided to donate a book anonomously to a fellow traveller. I attached a note to my book saying "im free, enjoy reading me" and placed it on a seat. A man walked past, took a second glance and then walked back to pick it up. Was lovely to see a smile on his face.

Love and hugs,
Sarah
