29-Day Giving Challenge

I met up with my husband's friends for dinner. BUT, before I did... I made homemade chicken soup for my neighbor. She is a hardworking teacher with 3 kids. They get home between 6 and 7 and if the husband's gone, she has to then make dinner. So, I did and left it on her stove to leave her a surprise. Her brother is visiting and let me in to do so. It was great to be able to help them knowing how tired she must be. She called me and said how much she appreciated the surprise. She said she was tired and that she did not know what she was going to make since there was nothing home. She would have had to gone to the store. What a treat to know that it was made on a night like that.

Earlier, I met up with another neighbor and had her walk with me with our dogs. She was able to keep up better than the past. I kept her company while she ran errands later.

I bought my mother Mona Vie juice to help her blood pressure and cholesterol. She is excited. She has to take medications to combat her high levels. She is unable to workout (handicapped) and I hope this helps her. I think it would be better to get the nutrients from a juice than to have to take pills that can be filling her body with toxins.

Blessings to all.

Kimberly,
What a kind and thoughtful gift, dinner for a tired and busy lady. A walk with another neighbor, it is plain to see you are becoming the light of your neighborhood.
Nutrition is always better than drugs. Great give for your mother.
