First Day.
Gosh what have I got myself into here. I'm a little overwhelmed that I have new friends. Today I called a friend who I haven't seen for ages just to have a catch up and chat. Good job I did as I found out she is going through a tough time. My life seems so busy juggling balls and keeping them up in the air. Running a business and trying to survive in this economic climate that I run out of time for my friends. I count my friends as important in my life so I will find time for them, even when I'm busy. So I gave my time to someone today.

Welcome to the challenge, Sandy! i see that you have a busy life and wonder how you will find the time for "one more thing". my guess is that you felt a tug on your heart that brought you here. you can participate on this site as much or as little as you like. i have found that reading others' blogs helps to give me ideas for giving and i enjoy the company of like minded souls. but the only needed thing is to do your best to give something each day. sometimes that is to others and sometimes it is to yourself. What have you gotten yourself into here? Did you mean with this challenge? With this challenge what you've gotten yourself into is a wonderful online community and an enlightening/fulfilling experience.
Time is one of the best gives ... it's especially meaningful when someone as busy as you sound makes time for another. It's probably no coincidence that you "just happened" to call this old friend now when she was going through a tough time.
I bet it's hard to keep juggling all those balls ... are there any balls you can put down, maybe even just for a little while? Make sure to take a break from the juggling now and them ... giving to yourself is important too.
