Gave Him Opportunity To Invest...
I have a very strained relationship with my father, and I spoke to him a few days ago about personal development, growth, and setting the desire and intention to improve our relationship.
I recently completed an Advanced Leadership Seminar and have (with a giant knot in my stomach) given him the opportunity to support me in this venture...this might sound like an attempted take but it really isn't, I have cut my dad out of my life to avoid being rejected and hurt and this is a step towards stepping away from scarcity and believing I'm not worth it to believing that I AM worth it and believing that investing in me will be seen as a solid investment, an honor rather than a charity case.
I have not gotten a response yet and am thus trembling pretty much (or was that too much coffee?) and I am working on my other challenges which are going to work to create my reality as an honorable, focused, abundant and trusting woman.
Sigh...

I really appreciate what you are both saying...my fingers are crossed and I feel better knowing it is in his hands, worst he can do is say no, but I know that doesn't define me now which is very newly learned.

it doesn't sound like a take at all, Kristin...giving him another chance to participate in his daughter's life is definitely a give. if he chooses to reject you again, he is missing out on a lot. you are a courageous and valuable young woman and i would be proud to have you as a daughter.
