Gave my all
I have been giving my all these past few days to finish this 50000 words for the NaNoWriMo novel before the deadline. I submitted my 50165 words tonight with 6 minutes to spare. This story needs refining but I feel like I have accomplished something important.
The main thing is that I learned that if I do a little every day I can accomplish a lot... and I can work quickly when under pressure.
So I guess this was a gift to myself.

That's wonderful ... I have yet to do the NaNo! I have three fiction novels in various stages (15,000 - 55,000 words). I am focusing my writing on my non-fiction collection of personal essays about raising children with learning disabilities, Asperger Syndrome, Tourettes Sydrome, Attention deficits and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and how it is leading me to start a nonprofit organization!
Congratulations on your accomplishment! Maybe I'll give it a try next year!
