Gaves and gots this weekend
On Friday, I hosted a "beer and brats" party...so I gave away food and friendship. In return, I received a great evening filled with laughter and stories and fun.
On Saturday I gave ...hmmm...what did I give? I gave a big compliment to a guy with whom I've kind of had my heart closed. He was shocked. In return, I got the possiblility of a romantic relationship. Yay!
On Sunday I gave my mom advice on how to do her eyebrows. Also gave her my eyebrow makeup and brushes.
She gave me the eyeshadow she didn't realize she was using on her eyebrows. LOL
Today...well, today I've emailed a bunch of jokes to people, so you could say I've given laughter (presuming, of course, they were read as such), but to me, that doesn't count. So I will have to think of something to give today.
...this whole thing may turn out to be more difficult than I thought. But I like thinking about what I've received. It forces me to "reach for the good."
