Germ Warfare-- Day #2

Today's gift was not what I'd originally expected. I was planning to make stressed people feel better today, and that's a lot of people in the retail arena.

However, an hour after I got up I was experiencing full-scale symptoms of impending cold, so I quickly zipped to the post office to mail a birthday gift to a friend, then came home and started dosing myself with vitamins, enough garlic to blast a whole flock of vampires, ColdEeze and herbal tea. Have been cooking under plenty of blankets in bed since; I think I may be winning this battle :-) I'm usually able to nip illness in the bud if I dive into bed at the first signs.

So today's gift to others is that I'm not wantonly sharing my germs, and the gift to myself is that I'll probably avoid full onset. Also, as a bonus, I'm spending a day ALONE! I'm taking care of my own needs, I'm not under the pressure of running to the next and next and next thing, and my mind already feels much clearer for it.
