Gifts of Treats in the Mail
I'm giving (still going on):
I live on the main street of my town, and we get THOUSANDS, and I mean thousands of trick-or-treaters down here. But the funny thing is, none of them come up the steps to our apartment! So in order to be a part of things I dress up as Snow White and hand out treats while my son is trick-or-treating. I'm known as "Snow On The Go!". Due to the chemotherapy treatments, I'm not sure that I'll have the strength to do that this year, so I decided to try something else. Through my blog I am doing a project called "Happy Halloween Mail" where I am sending treat packages to kids in the mail. Every kid loves mail (and candy) so I thought it would be perfect! So far so good. I've sent 36 out so far. I have a goal to send 50, and hopefully I'll be able to reach it. Monday is the last day requests can be made. :)
I received:
1) The sweetest emails from a few that have already received their treat mail.
2) Donations of stamps, stickers, money and encouarging words to continue my mission to spread smiles.
3) Good feelings know that I put a smile on a child's face. :)

Those are great packages! I received my pin on Friday! What a nice surprise! Very nice and professional work! I will be sure to wear it when I walk and with pride! Thanks so much. My Mom and Sister and her daughter have done the 3 day relay for Cancer every year fia awhile, and I am going to go with them this year. They are so excited I want to do this and for someone, YOU! I hope you had a wonderful night of Halloween fun and are doing great today!

cool little treat packages; how neat for kids to receive those in the mail
I love Halloween ... well, all holidays are fun with my daycare kids
Next week we'll be doing lots of Halloween activities. And on Halloween I am hoping for lots of treaters at my house ... the past couple years I've had sixty-some each year.
