29-Day Giving Challenge

Happy March and Welcome to Days 11-15

Keeping in mind that no day is ever a non-giving day, I've been doing ok. Friday I gave myself permission to stop reading a book that I wasn't really enjoying because I had already seen the movie. Most of the time that doesn't bother me, butimages from the movie were fighting with the images from the book. I am mailing it to my beautiful daughter-in-law as a surprise.

Saturday, I said to my husband "hey, lets go to a movie" and guess what? We did. Since I picked the last one that sucked, he picked the new Bruce Willis one, _Cop Out_. Knowing right away that great acting would not be involved, I was ready to just enjoy it, thankfully it was hillarious. Seriously. I was laughing so hard at some points I couldn't stand it. It is billed as a comedy, but I was surprised. It is kinda crude, so be prepared of you see it.

Sunday, I stayed home from Church again because my emotions are fragile at this point, and I had no relief from leg pain and no sleep. It was corn dogs and ice cream for dinner.

Today, I skipped art class because I knew what would happen if I went around people I knew so I stayed home. I did answer the phone and it was my daughter asking my opinion on laptops while she was driving to Best Buy to buy one. I then remade the telephone call my therapist wanted me to make and ended up doing an intake and getting all upset and then "gifted" him with three text messages, and then we ended up talking and he's happy I'm upset at him, or with him. Not sure. He's all excited. I see him tomorrow.

I then went to wal-mart because I wanted some really big t-shirts, and they didn't have the ones I wanted, but I got an Irish one, and one with a cow and a gallon of milk on it saying "milk, I am your father." Now, that is hillarious. Hubby didn't get it. But in the t-shirt aisle this woman and I were talking about the t-shirts and then she asked me if I knew of a sporting goods store, and I told her how to get there, and then she wanted to know where the pepper was. She thanked me many times for being helpful. I don't think she is from around here. That made me feel useful.

On the way home I stopped at McD's and got my husband his 20 chicken nuggets meal and we just sat there ate and talked.

So, tomorrow I go to therapy, and probably another Wal-mart for my t-shirts, and will hopefully find someone to help.
