29-Day Giving Challenge

Has anyone experienced any miracles/blessings? What were they? How long did it take for you to see them? Thank you in advance :o)

This probably sounds negative. I don't mean to appear or sound negative at all. But I've not seen any blessings/miracles in my life yet. Today is my 7th day.
I don't know why I haven't seen much. I did get an unexpected gift of bananna fritters on my 3rd or 4th day. I haven't tasted them in a long time. I was just too busy to think about them and completely forgot about the joy of eating bananna fritters.
I love bananna fritters and used to eat them everyday. I was surprised that day and was so happy to receive them.
But so far, besides that, nothing else has happened. Maybe I'm being negative but I thought as I give, I would be blogging about what goodness I have received as well. It is documented on the 29 Day Gifts Calendar.

I think my give will be replying other people's messages and giving at least one person one comment on their page or try to make someone smile at least once a day.

I tend to forget what I give sometimes and I'm not really good at blogging so I'll blog once in a while and try to keep track of my givings but at the same time, knowing and blogging that I have contributed something to this site.

Thank you for reading.

I think it takes a while for us to be able to see what is really happening within us and for us. I loved the site and the challenge from the start. My first round it was just exciting to think of gives and to be doing them. Then I noticed how close I was feeling to the people here, and was making friends that seemed to be on the same journey I was on. I learned so much from blogs and things people suggested reading. It is hard to put into words, what this site and the people here have come to mean to me and the importance of the sharing, caring, support, encouragement, acceptance, knowledge, etc. I am glad you asked this question Precious, it gave me the opportunity to really think about this challenge and to look back over the time I have spent here. I think it has been a miracle in my life. So hang in there with us, what you are expericing is growing pains! LOL And boy will you grow at an alarming rate in this challenge! By the way, you can count your blog as a big give to me today! :)
Hugs, Pat

My favorite part of the challenge is having a voice. I am surprised that I enjoy the blogging so much. I had never blogged before the challenge. I have never even kept a journal on a consistent basis, the community here is so supportive and heard me, and answered me. I enjoy the friends that I have made in this community. I enjoy watching them change as they continue in the challenge. Even as they change, so do I. I have become calmer, and more appreciative of the beauty surrounding me. I am more aware. Those are miracles to me. Small miracles always add up. My health has improved, I am alive and I am joyful.

In the same way that we give constantly (even without taking this challenge), we also receive constantly. The problem for most of us is that we do it (giving and receiving) unconsciously. Just getting up in the morning a "gift" when you think about it. Doing this challenge helps you to give consciously, and on the flip side you can take the opportunity to receive consciously as well. Take some time and just notice the "little things" that you receive on a daily basis. The more you did this the more blessed you will feel, and the more blessed you feel the more abundant you feel, and the more abundant you feel the more you want to give. Tthe more you give the more you will receive and the cycle keeps repeating. So today and everyday give yourself the gift of noticing what you receive. :)

part of our all too human tendency is to see miracles as these huge, supernatural events. but miracles are all around us if we have eyes to see them. i have discovered that the less i focus on what i can get, the more i notice everyday miracles like rainbows or a timely word or an old friend getting in touch with me from out of the blue.

i have received the blessing of supportive friends here on 29 Gifts. they in turn have blessed me with new ideas and viewpoints, as well as opportunities to do for others. i have witnessed the miracle of how one give begets a chain reaction.

i have received the blessing of becoming re-excited about life in a way that i haven't been in a very long time.
i feel more deeply and some deep-hidden dreams and talents are resurfacing. i am profoundly grateful for this.

i think that as time goes by, you will discover blessings of your own. have faith. Hugs, Dawn

Yes! I have received the blessing of several new and very dear friends, who inspire me, care about me and in whom I find comfort and courage to conquer a new day! What is the value of that??? Worth more than gold.

I've seen miracles of synchronicity. Strange appearances (the ladybugs) or similar events/messages that hit all at once. They encouraged my faith that I am greatly supported, guided and loved. Since joining here, I walk with a whole new confidence and a deeper vision. I am more motivated and enjoying more following my path, my destiny, my dreams. That is a miracle of ressurrection, fo I had fallen off my path before i came here.

I've been blessed to be challenged by so many kind people on this site. Their creative generous giving has stirred and roused me, and has made my heart grow two sizes larger. I am better person for having done this challenge. I have been dipped, immersed, pickled and saturated in kindness and giving here ~ I am changed for the better. Is that a miracle? Yes, because that hasn't happened to me in a very long time.

I don't know .... I didn't do this with the plan of receiving miracles, but I was pleasantly surprised by what this site gave me: I've loved reading others' blogs and having them comment on mine, I found it so uplifting, and I made some friends ... it did take about a month before I really found myself connecting with certain people on the site ....
Maybe it is our point of view ... some people are able to see everything as a miracle, a gift from God.
One day I blogged about a car that slowed down so as not to splash me with water from a puddle ... not really a miracle, but still something I was able to be appreciative of. I think that's the blessing this has been for me: it's helped me to recognize and appreciate things, even the smallest things and it's helped me to recognize all that I give which really helps me feel good.
