When Things Fall Apart. It is a very short, small book that is wonderful....helped me so much when my universe was caving in and here is a cute anecdote....I gave it to my mom (who has dementia) after my dad died; I put a sticky on it that said, "READ ME FIRST" because she loves books and with the dementia she'll just pick up any old book and read a few pages and then later pick a different book. So anyway, because of the sticky, she read it from start to finish and loved it. Then a few months later; she told me she had just read "When Things Fall Apart" and how wonderful it was. Upon questioning her, it was evident she'd just finished rereading it but thought she was reading it for the first time! There is a silver lining to dementia I guess...everything is fresh and new!
