Helping in the supermarket

This evening I was in the supermarket getting some last minute bits for the evening meal. I overheard a young lady with a baby trying to find where she could locate some bedsheets for a double bed. I had seen them further down the aisle and at first I walked past her and said nothing. I then realised how helpful it might be to assist her in her search. I walked back and told her where she could find them and she thanked me for my help. I then overheard her say that they only had kingsize or single and she required sheets for a double bed. I took the time to walk back up the aisle again to her and handed her some white sheets for a double bed. Her smile and genuine surprise at the help she had been given said it all.
Giving time and thought is just great because the benefits are definitely two fold.I left feeling real good and remembering that it is the little things in life that make each day worthwhile.
