Thank you for sharing the recipe and the tips. This sounds like a great lotion -- and nice surprise gift for friends!

Comment by M on January 10, 2013 at 8:35pm FYI Dawn: I was able to buy the rosehip oil in bulk. I only bought a tiny bit. Since I only used 10 drops of it in the recipe, I didn't need much.
Comment by Dawn wwt on January 10, 2013 at 8:24pm that is awesome! when i first looked at the price of the rosehip oil, i thought "eek!" but then when i looked at the recipe i realized that one bottle would make about two years worth of this moisturizer :o) beats the heck out of the commercial products! thanks so much! Hugs, Dawn xoxo
Comment by M on January 10, 2013 at 7:56pm I like this because it's really light. It goes on wet due to the aloe, but then dries right away leaving a silky finish. When I use a regular face cream, I always end up getting sweaty and losing most of it. This one absorbs right into the skin and doesn't make me sweaty. Once it's on, i don't notice it's there, which I like.
