29-Day Giving Challenge

As you all know, I have been working on the paper crafting cass with the girls for months, well, it finally happened and I am relieved to report that all went fantastically well and the girls had a ball! I forgot to take pictures on the first day, but did remember to take some on Tuesday. The girls are proudly displaying the journals and mini albums they made. It is days like this that makes me remember why I became a teacher in the first place!
I also recieved a very special gift while teaching this. At the end of the first day I realised to my horror that I did not order enough double sided tape. The girl I always order from, is a pupil at our school (her dad makes the stuff!) When I went looking for her the next day, she was at home sick! The secretary phoned her mom and asked if it would be at all possible to deliver some tape to school asap. ( Very cheeky, I know, but I was desperate!) This lady was wonderful! I had enough tape to finish the class within an hour! Even though we pay for the tape, I still wanted to thank her for being so kind. So I bought a chocolate and made a cover for it. I think it looks pretty special, don't you?
