I just re-visited the site today, for the first time in months. I thought of it as a suggestion for a friend who is going through a difficult financial time. Then I read through some forums, my old blog posts, and decided I should start a new 29-day challenge myself.
Dec 2 / Day 1 - Mailed a sympathy note to one of the women in my belly dancing class. She is an only child, unmarried with no children, and she just lost her mother. I don't know her well, but was struck by how lonely she must feel. I sent my phone number & email address to her and told her I would love to meet for coffee or a meal.
I'm excited about this month. No, my life is not perfect! There are still relationship issues, less-than-ideal housing circumstances, work aggravations and my family is far, too far away. Yet I am determined to find love, peace & joy each day this month and to share it as best as I can. Happy December!
