Day 3 - January 3rd - Deal Alert

My gift today revolved around my interest and (I daresay) skill at couponing.  I follow a lot of blogs, www.hip2save.com; being my favorite, and I keep an eye out for things that I know friends and family may be interested in, even if I am not:

A girlfriend who is expecting has decided to use all natural diapers, so when I saw Target had the Seventh Generation diapers as their daily deal, I jumped at the chance to let her know.  She "liked" my facebook post, so I may order some to give her at her baby shower.

My BIL and his girlfriend are doing the Paleo diet and Amazon has a Paleo Diet Cookbook as a free kindle download today, so I linked him up.

My SIL is allergic to any dyes and perfumes in laundry detergent, so I signed her up for a free sample of Method laundry soap.  That will be a nice little surprise in her mailbox in a month or so.

I also bought a bunch on cleaning supplies at Target (8 Dial handsoaps, 2 containers of disinfectant wipes, and 2 bottles of Soft Scrub) for about $11.50.  Using two $10 gift cards I got (again using coupons) during Christmas shopping, all of my purchases were FREE.  A great gift for me and my family.
