Keeping Sane
I haven't had time to add a blog for ages and feel a bit guilty for not keeping my blog up to date. My life does seem to be so busy and stressful at the moment. So i don't want to add to my stress by feeling too guilty. However, I receive the occasional up date from 29 DGC which serves as a reminder of why I joined in the first place, so I'm grateful for that. I try to mindful of giving to people around me of my time and in what I say. I am very broke at present so its really hard to give in a material way. So I just want to say Thanks for keeping my mind focussed on other things rather than dwelling on my own problems all the time. Its a useful jolt thats helping to keep me sane.

As a perpetually broke teacher, I can sooooooooo relate to feeling guilty about not being able to do the things I'd always like (to or for others as well as myself). Don't give up, and remember, there are good free things out there to do as well. Just write a letter to a friend that you haven't contacted in awhile, call your parents, go to a pet store an pet a dog- that always works for me. I pet mine for hours when I'm down and it always helps, and makes the pooch waiting for a home happy too!

Giving of yourself is far MORE than any material give could ever be . . . . don't feel stressed about not giving stuff, ever. And don;t forget to give yourself some moments of peace in whatever way you can. That is an important give too!
