I received an invite to join this challenge. I don't recognize the person's username who invited me and their profile does not "tell." LOL
I picked up the book 3 days ago. I am on Day 24 in reading the book. I love the story you have shared with each of us Cami. Thank you.
I am still learning what counts as giving and the feeling that goes along with it. Like many of your readers, I wonder if things I would have given prior to learning about this challenge really count. So, I am fine tuning my thought process with all of this as I continue to read the book. (What I find funny is I will have just said to myself something that Cami describes in the book - and giggle. For example, "does this count as gift?" or "this does not count b/c I already do this." - and then it is like Cami has read my mind because she touches on the question that just crossed my mind in her writings. LOL)
I am not a seasoned blogger. I have tried to blog things in the past and often forget ...so remembering to come to the website and share will be something that requires detailed thought. It will also be a process to learn how this works in regard to me keeping track of my blog vs everyone else's.
Today my gift was sending an invite to those in my address book. How can that NOT be a gift? ...taking one small step that may change the direction a person is taking their life today? I do think the small gifts are the ones that go the furthest.
May 2010 be your best year yet! ~ Rhonda
