29-Day Giving Challenge

Day 24

Today I stopped at Aldi's to pick up my favorite chocolate. It is mint or orange dark chocolate and it is this bigger box that inside is several smaller bars. Just the right amount. As I was packing my bag I pulled out a bar to enjoy and I noticed a teenage girl nearby. She gave me the most delightful, knowing, chocolate lover's smile and I handed her the bar which she accepted graciously. It is so easy to give and to receive.

I also gave friends our blow up planet set which they were thrilled to add to their lone sun and I exchanged physical love with my hubby which is definately a mutual gift :).

Day 25

Today I bought my son another year of fun on Xbox live. That's a gift that will keep on giving!

Day 26

Today I loaned a friend my Byron Katie book, A 1000 Names for Joy. I highly reccommend this book to anyone ready to love their life. I also served up a fine lunch for my walking buddy after our wonderful walk.

Day 27

Today we are having our friend's son over so his parents can attend a play and have dinner out.

My cat caught a fledgling cardinal in our back yard. This was a first. Not that my cats aren't cats through and through, but they have never hunted that I know of. I picked the bird up and it nestled into my hands. I just knew I was to take care of it. It was wounded so I could not leave it. I did not know how to take care of it and upon researching my options I drove it out to a wildlife rescue. They asked for a $50 donation. The bird died the next day. While I feel bad, I know everything happens for a reason and animals are the greatest givers of all. My theory is that, because this Wildlife rescue was in dire need of donations, the baby bird brought me to them to make a donation. Just a theory. I don't have to know the why of it, just that all is well and there is no suffering.

Day 28

Today I brought Organic Kiwis to my Mastermind group.
