Little bitty gives
This week has been about extending the hand of friendship.
I gave to a friend by listening to their latest big joy and giving them someone to chat to about it when all their other friends were busy, by recognising their loneliness. Told a colleague her hair looked fabluous, and started hatching a plot to help someone tick something off their 'bucket list.' I also contacted a sick colleague to let them know I was thinking of them and to offer her my comedy dvd collection... I think laughter is the best medicine after all!
Receives: Some closure on the past. Friends who swell my heart. An offer of somewhere to stay in England, if I make it there! and... chutzpah!
