Major league giving.

Some people are extraordinary givers. A woman in Africa, offering a portion of her only meal, to a news reporter would certainly be an example. Some time ago, I could not find work. I decided I would paint, paperhang, place bathroom tiles, and cabinets. In short, I would do odd jobs.
When I needed a hand, I hired some guys who were homeless. Some of them were clean, and did not drink. Two of these guys would offer to loan me money. Incredible. These guys on the second tier of Maslow's hierachy of needs, were offering me money, because I was in debt.
Yesterday, I spent some time with one of them. Upon leaving, he mentioned tommorow was payday; would I buy him a cup of coffee? I said sure and gave him a bill. By the expression on his face, he probaly thought it was a one.
I playfully told him to keep the change. "This will buy me dinner tonight." His celebration, reminded me of a baseball player, who had just hit a home run.
