Sounds silly, but as I haven't kept my diary up to date with giving, I'm not sure what day of this challenge I'm up too.
I think I'm about day 20, as I started after the New Year, but I thought instead of going back to day 1 I would just continue from day 10, not quite cheating, but I have really been working hard on giving since the NY.
day 10 Thursday- encouragment of a friend to send her book to a publishers, a little prayer to help it along it's way too, it really would make a great children's book
day 11 - friday - we have had snow here, and Britain just can't cope with it. I decided my gift today would be to stay in the warm and sort out my office at home.
day 12 sun- The snow has melted a bit, due to my ankle injury, I am a little caucious on the ice, but decided that I needed to connect with nature and people. So I walked through a park and enjoyed seeing the snow and talking to people in the shops, I bought some fresh fruit and veg. for my new health mission. I need to lose some weight. I just enjoyed my rosy cheeks with the cold wind and having time to think as I walked along.
i talked to the shop tellers and wished them a safe journey home, I don't think many people really have conversations.
day 13 mon- I called my mum to make sure she was okay and made time for some me time - to read a new book after a wonderful bubbly bath. I cooked myself a lovely dinner too.
day 14 tues - Today I baked a batch of fairy cakes for my mum I don't normal cook / bake, so this took a little longer that I expected, but got to lick the bowl - yum! Mum bought my some bubble bath that I love.
Mum came with me to the doctors for an appointment for my ankle - I gave her a newspaper I had bought but not read, she had a little time to catch up on the news with a newspaper she likes. We both bought food for a neighbour that can't let his house, some of his favourite foods which he asked for.
day 15 - I posted a parcel for my friend whom has just given birth to a beautiful girl, so a couple of pressies for the baby and a packet of chocolate drops for my friend to enjoy during the feeds.
I applied for two competitions, so fingers crossed, both for projects I really want to do, 1 project in for charity and the other is for a training weekend which could help me with projects this year.
I popped into see a friend at work and gave her a hug,as she's a bit poorly.
Times are a little tough money wise; however I very lucky to have a home, great mum, food and ideas for my creative projects and a new journey on my spiritual path, a time to learn and understand.
