29-Day Giving Challenge

Today I gave my first give away. I gave $150.00 to my son who is in college. I gave it to him because he didn;t have any drinks or extra cash last month. He is involved in the work study program, but all his earnings for the month went towards his tuition. He was still $300.00 short. I traded my dryer for 2 cases of powerade yesterday, and I am disabled and can use my neighbors dryer. I don't have alot of cash, but feel that my son has great potential. I have prayed about this for 2 weeks. Tonight I heard from the transitions secretary and they found an alumni to give him $250.00. I am so happy I am crying. Of course at first I thought sure wish I would have known this before I gave my grocery money away. But I know in my heart that God will provide and my son will not be without this month. I just finished reading the book and I gave away .42 cents last week and it was my last. The next day I did not give away anything. Then I gave away a book that I was going to sell. Again the next day I felt sorry for myself and gave away nothing. Hopefully tomorrow I will continue on with the challenge. I also picked up a prescription that I have needed badly today and just maybe I will not be so itchy and irritable to the rest of my family. Ha. I hate to spend money on medicine . Peace to all.

You are a wonderful parent to do this for him.If you need the meds it's best to get them. You do so much for others that you deserve something for you. Things always seem to work out for the best if we only have faith~ You are a gift! A special person in this world... :o) Bless you!
