29-Day Giving Challenge

my friend Brenda has been having trouble with her medicines, getting them adjusted to the right dosage, and as a result has been extremely tired and 'blah' for the last week or so. she's been trying to get motivated to put up her Christmas decorations - got as far as dragging the boxes out of the closet- but just couldn't summon the oomph! to do it. so this morning i went over to her house and got the halls (and kitchen and living room) decked for her. Bonus: once everything was looking festive, she seemed to perk up and even got a little twinkle in her eyes :o)

What a beautiful gift Dawn - she'll get to enjoy it the whole season and for years to come I'm sure :)

yeah, sometimes a person just needs a little "jump start."  Once you get one thing done for them it can really, as you say, perk them up

What a wonderful gift for your friend.  Want to come to my house and put up mine next?

Wow, I love this Dawn.  You are really thinking outside the box.  I think I have to steal this one.  My friend that doesn't drive isn't able to decorate.  I have a small tree......  You have inspired me.

That's a lovely gift! Not only did you help your friend with a task she felt too weary to do, but you created an environment to lift her spirits! I can't think of a better gift for this time of year. :)
