This morning, I put a loonie in my pocket, so I could leave it somewhere if no opportunities came up. And the only ones that did were picking up a couple of pieces of litter... so I left the loonie on the bench at a bus stop. When I walked by a few hours later, it was still there (though that particular stop isn't often used). Tonight, for good measure, I clicked on the Animal Rescue site and most of the other Greater Good sites (at the same link).
The agitation continues, though it's punctuated by moments of clarity, appreciation and awareness.
The fog lifted today, but it was the darkest day we've had so far. I took the photo below at noon (and, by the way, that's the seawall I'm always writing about). The days are getting longer, though, bit by bit.
I hope you all had wonderful Saturdays. Cheers!

Comment by Dawn wwt on January 5, 2013 at 8:29pm it is indeed a wonderful photo! thanks for supplying a visual aid to my imagining your daily walks :o) the Pacific Northwest is such a lush and beautifully green country, unfortunately long dreary wet winters are part of the price paid for that. i know it can be hard to deal with sometimes. you always manage to figure out a way to brighten someone's day, somewhere, with your giving, though. you make a difference. Hugs, Dawn xoxo
