29-Day Giving Challenge

This week has continued to be crazy for me (there I go using that word again!) but has ended on a good note. *knock on wood* My furnace burner (the issue which began mid-December) is finally resolved and I think I got a better deal on it that I expected. "I think" because the quote was given to me verbally in January and I don't remember exactly what it was. Pretty sure it was in the mid $200s, but the owner only charged me $200 and didn't charge me for the cleaning they did in December, which I was expecting to pay for today. So my anticipated $400 or so bill was only $200. Yay for that. Although the company I used hasn't been on top of things as far as returning phone calls or showing up on time (or even showing up! :-P), I know them through work and I do think they ultimately did right by me. So right in time for warm weather, my furnace is fixed. :-P Better late than never!

I have had a sticky note in my wallet with my last 2 days of gifts on it, which I of course lost somewhere in my travels. Although it seems ridiculous to me that I can't remember what I gave besides picking up a sub for my very tired and hungry honey Wednesday night, I can't. But I assure you I have been giving mindfully! I'm just brain-fried and drawing a blank. :-\

I'm off to work, then looking forward to sitting out by a fire with the best boyfriend ever. One of my favorite things in the world. I hope everyone had a great week, which turns into a great weekend. TGIF.
